    TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using the Surgery Trust Platform, you agree to these Terms.

    1) Our Role (Not a Medical Provider)

Surgery Trust is not a healthcare provider and does not practice medicine, perform procedures, or guarantee outcomes. We operate a marketplace to help patients compare quotes, message providers, and reserve dates. We perform administrative verification of provider credentials where applicable, but final due diligence and all medical decisions rest with you and your chosen provider.

    2) Accounts & Acceptable Use

    • Provide accurate, current information and keep your login secure.
    • Do not misuse the Platform (e.g., harassment, fraud, unlawful use).
    • No scraping, crawling, automated access, or data harvesting without our prior written consent.
    • You must be of legal age to contract for services in your jurisdiction.

    3) Quotes, Pricing & Communications

    • Providers present their own quotes and terms. Our goal is clear, all-in pricing with no hidden fees; optional extras must be disclosed before you commit.
    • Platform messaging is logged to support transparency and potential mediation.
    • Platform content is informational only and not a substitute for professional medical advice.

    4) Payments & Deposits

    • Consultation unlocks: $95 per procedure to enable 1:1 messaging with all responding surgeons for that procedure (see Refund Policy).
    • Booking deposit: Reserve with a 15% deposit via Surgery Trust. Fully refundable up to 7 full days before the scheduled surgery local time; within 7 days, the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is paid directly to the clinic on surgery day.
    • No escrow / no post-op hold: We do not hold funds after surgery and are not a trustee or fiduciary of provider funds.

    5) Mediation (Non-Binding)

If agreed terms are not met, we offer non-binding mediation up to 12 months post-op. Provide the agreed quote/terms and relevant messages. We primarily consider communications on the Surgery Trust Platform. Mediation is voluntary and does not limit your legal rights.

    6) Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content are owned by or licensed to Surgery Trust. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

    7) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any direct or consequential losses. We do not guarantee procedure availability, outcomes, or the professional conduct of independent providers. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

    8) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of their courts.

    9) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
